No, Soft Touch does not allow anyone to resell our products on Amazon. We have a carefully curated list of resellers with a highly rated track record selling Soft Touch products on Amazon. You can apply to become a reseller using the contact form to the left. Please note we are only considering applications for sellers that have a wealth of experience selling on Amazon, and that are familiar with Soft Touch products.
We have recently put into effect a new policy concerning the sale of Soft Touch items on Amazon. Due to malicious intent on the platform, we have had to take steps to enact change to protect the Soft Touch brand on Amazon. Whereas in the past, anyone could sell Soft Touch items on Amazon, we have now restricted access to a handful of trusted, reputable resellers. You can apply to be a reseller using the form on the left, but we are currently only taking applications for highly experienced sellers with a 5-star seller rating who have been purchasing Soft Touch products from an authorised wholesaler for several years.
This policy is in effect to prevent hijacking of listings, drastic tanking of prices and brand defamation through the sale of fake products.
Effective from September 2024, Soft Touch has taken control back over its own Amazon product listings. This means that we alone are responsible and able to create and modify product listings. This ensures the listings on Amazon are accurate, high quality and detailed. We are heavily investing in new photography, advertising, marketing and optimisation to ensure that Soft Touch is the best babywear brand on Amazon. This is directly going to help our resellers through improved sales, brand visibility and direct support. We are also helping resellers by restricting the number of competitors allowed to sell Soft Touch products on Amazon. This allows resellers to re-invest profits into more stock rather than having margins slashed over excessive comeptition.
We are looking for experienced resellers who understand the Amazon seller platform well. We also expect our resellers to understand our product range well, with an established buying history with one or more of our trusted wholesalers. You must have an outstanding history on Amazon, backed by highly rated reviews. Due to our reseller programme being a selective process, we are expecting our resellers to focus on the Soft Touch brand, in exchange for the following benefits:
1) Reduced competition
2) Investment in advertising by Soft Touch
3) Investment in listing optimisation and management by Soft Touch
We will not be accepting resellers who stock products from our competitors that conflict with our own ranges.
